We are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our Communications Team based at our Head Office in Merton on a 6-month temporary contract.

The focus of the role will be to assist with creative work and research on various projects including internal campaigns, presentations, reports, website and corporate design. This position will suit a recent graduate who may be fresh out of design school or have relevant experience.

Some of the key responsibilities are listed below -

• Responsible for preparing and managing internal communications, ensuring all colleagues are kept fully informed and updated.
• Support Managers by producing high quality garage communications material for displays and communications for other events as requested.
• Responsible for maintaining and updating the company website and employee portal.
• Responsible for designing, content and production of our bi-monthly Bus Talk, the electronic company magazine ensuring it is topical and interesting.
• Responsible for coordinating the internal social media strategy, including the ‘Have your Say’ forum on the internal employee portal.
• Undertake any additional duties that are reasonable and at the request of your Line Manager.

It is key that you demonstrate the ability to copyright and are able to generate original copy ideas that grab the attention of the target audience, adding value and exceeding expectations at all times.  You must have graphic design experience with a developing portfolio, and possess a creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability.  It is essential that you are able to interact, communicate and present ideas at all levels of the business and we are looking for someone who has experience of using industry leading software including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and MS packages.
Confident, friendly and helpful, you will be able to work with the existing team and build positive relationships with colleagues.
The minimum salary will be £22,500 plus additional benefits including 25 days’ holiday and travel pass.
