HR Administrator - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

The Go-Ahead HR Team are now looking for some additional support for the next few months.  You will be based at Merton Head Office and will be required to deliver a range variety of administration support to the Assistant HR Manager and the wider management teams based across London.

You will report to the Assistant HR Manager and some of your responsibilities will include the following -
• Responding to queries from colleagues received by phone or email.
• Responding to references requested from a variety of third parties.
• Respond professionally to any queries from management colleagues about various HR, employment and benefit issues.
• Responsible for ensuring that any changes to colleagues’ details are correctly processed either by actioning or forwarding to Payroll for actioning, this will include changes of address, movement between locations and any promotions.
• Responsible for issuing any new employment contracts following a recruitment process or an internal promotion.
• Responsible for actioning requests for vouchers following commendations.
• Support and assist with the recruitment process, including being able to issue adverts, and arrange interviews and declines if colleagues are unsuccessful.
• Ad hoc duties as required by the Assistant HR Manager.

We are looking for flexible and adaptable individuals who appreciate the importance of keeping colleague information confidential.  You will have good communication skills, both verbal and written, but most important is proficiency with the Microsoft suite particularly word and excel.  We use a number of bespoke systems within HR and you must be willing to learn and be able to quickly adapt to the changing demands of the HR Department.  This would be an ideal introduction for someone who may be interested in building a career within HR.
