Go-Ahead London is the largest bus company in the capital.  We employ over 6,000 drivers operating approximately 2300 buses, from our 16 depots in South, North and East London. We are now looking to recruit an experienced Internal Quality Auditor to specifically monitor and manage the Driver Apprentice qualification that we have recently introduced.

The primary responsibility will be to ensure that the Apprenticeship scheme is being delivered to the required standards.  This will involve the sampling of apprentice qualifications and supporting all the assessors and mentors ensuring that they all understand and apply the apprenticeship standards consistently across the business. 

To ensure success you will need to build strong working relationships with the Apprentice Manager and other Managers as appropriate to ensure the wider Driver Apprenticeship quality strategy is implemented.  This may involve travel across the business in order to meet the requirements of the role.

You will be responsible for the quality of provision and ongoing improvement within the Bus Driver apprenticeship programme.  Key will be taking responsibility for developing, implementing and monitoring compliance of the Apprenticeship scheme.  It is imperative that the scheme meets the Passenger Transport Driver – Bus Apprenticeship Standards and you will play a key role in ensuring compliance and ensuring the business achieve and maintain a high OFSTED grade. 
We are looking for an individual with previous experience of assessing and verifying within a similar industry, who also has good organisational and time management skills coupled with an ability to monitor and ensure compliance.  Additionally, you will ideally have experience of leading, motivating and developing a team of Assessors to ensure Learners achieve their planned learning aim and make appropriate progress towards the apprenticeship.

The salary for the post will be circa £35,000.00 per annum based upon a 38-hour week.  Additionally, we will offer the successful applicant a contributory pension scheme and concessionary travel on Transport for London services and 25 days holiday.
