A vacancy has arisen for a Procurement Administrator, within the Engineering Procurement Department based at Head Office. The purpose of the post is to ensure that the Engineering Function is fully supported, to ensure compliance with company procedures and to maximise the availability of the company’s fleet.

The main responsibilities of the post are:

• Generate reports and data analysis.
• Collate and record imprest stock requests.
• To ensure that the company approved stores procedures are adhered to.
• To assist with stock checks at each stores location on an ad hoc basis.
• To provide driving cover for the company stores vehicle, which delivers stores material and internal mail to all company locations.
• To assist Finance and Purchasing Departments with the resolution of invoice queries relating to stores deliveries.
• Assist with the control of material returns and credit notes.
• Conduct data analysis to assist with tender preparation.
• Provide stores cover as required.
• Assist with general office administration.

This list is not exhaustive and the successful candidate should be willing to undertake any task.

Applicants will be required to work a 38 hour week, however, they must be prepared to take a flexible approach to their working hours. The Salary for this post is £24,931 per annum.

Applicants must be in possession of a full driving licence, and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel and the ability to learn computerised systems.

Applicants must be able to communicate effectively, and develop a good working relationship with all levels of staff within the Go Ahead Group and outside contractors. They must also be methodical, with an attention to detail. The ability to produce clear and concise reports is essential.
